Easy to mange orders on mobile
Manage orders anytime and anywhere on the web or app. As the orders come in, you will receive a notification on the app and an email to let you know the details of your order.
Check the delivery method chosen by the buyer and prepare your items and send them. Remember to update the timeline so that the buyer can know the status until they have received the order.
Update the order quantity so that listings are available for purchases. Request reviews from buyers and review the buyer to let other users know of your experience dealing with them.
When the order is created, you have 4 days to make sure the order is delivered from sending the order, to the time the buyer has received their order. When the 4 days elapse, the timer stops, and the order is completed. If the order has not been dispatched when the timer stops, the order will be cancelled.
Arranging for collections
If you have collections as a delivery method, communicate with the buyer and give them the collection address. Make sure to take pictures as proof of the collection in case there is a dispute later.
Can I chat with the buyer of an item?
To chat with the buyer about the order, click on My Orders and then the specific order. Go to the Chat button and begin chatting with the buyer. You can also view the status of the order, the timeline by which the order should be delivered, or whether the seller has dispatched the item or not.
What is a Pending Balance?
A pending balance refers to all orders that are still pending and not completed or fulfilled. If the timer is still running, the seller is not yet eligible to receive the money from the order. This is to protect buyers in the event there are disputes and in cases where sellers have not dispatched the orders.
When the order is completed, either when the buyer has marked that they received the order, or when the timer completes, the order amount will move from Pending balance to Available balance. When this happens, the seller can withdraw the money or can use it on the platform anytime.
Why we use pending balance
We use a "Pending balance" to temporarily delay funds from reaching the seller before the order is completed. This is in line with our Money Back Guarantee and is a common practice on online marketplaces. Depending on the chosen delivery method, for international shipping option, the seller has 14 days to fulfil the order and for local delivery options, the seller has 5 days. When this time elapses and the order is marked as complete either by the buyer or the timer resetting to zero, the money moves from the pending balance to available balance which is withdrawable. This ensures that our platform safe and secure for both buyers and sellers.
